Place : Alcochete, near Lisbon

Region: Municipality- Alcochete / Parish- Alcochete,

Theme: Alcochete Bay...by Blue Hour

After the cold weather. Portugal is beginning to have a temperature more Mediterranean.

On this day beautiful, with good weather and pleasant temperature of 18C. I went to the parish of Alcochete, bathed by the Tagus River and located in the margin opposite to Lisbon.

After having photographed a beautiful Sunset. I waited for the clean and cloudless night to shoot the Blue Hour. To offer to my TE friends.

Dear Filipe,
As we understand, photography is painting by eyes.And in that, a sky left blank is like leaving the canvas blank and unpainted. After seeing your picture i give myself an exception to this rule. That there is beauty in blankness.Its the way we look at it.
Great picture indeed. If the right hand down corner rocks could have been avoided, it would have been a Dichotomous Composition.(Dividing the frame into two horizontally from centre).

Hi Filipe,
what I like here, besides the lamplights long reflections is how the colors of the sky and the sea are almost the same. A nice blue hour shot.

hello Filipe,
the white letters in the lower left corner are a bit distracting, but that's a personal preference. I like a lot this minimalistic shot, the intense blue with pink accents look very good. I wonder if it was possible to shift the camera a little to the left to avoid the rocks in the lower right corner, I think without them the minimalism would be even more pronounced. still, great shot, I like it.

I love the beautiful colors of this image and the exposure is well balanced, the only issue I see in this image is that your horizon splits the image in half. You can either crop it so that your horizon is 1/3 in the bottom or 1/3 at the top. This would have a more intersting effect.

A superb blue hour shot of the Bay, the blue sky is wonderfully reflected on the water as well, and the lines of reflection of the lights make a huge difference to this simple and effective composition. Well done, I like it.

isto está bem bonito, Filipe. Uma imagem poética em tons de azul lindíssimos. O sharpness não parece a 100% mas se calhar é normal para os 15s. O que conta é a atmosfera que captaste e essa está fabulosa.

Sou deleitada de ver um resumo da cidade de Setubal onde fui em 1972 aquando de uma viagem à Portugal. Separa-se o azul do céu e o mar apenas graças à linha de horizonte e das luzes. Uma boa ideia posta bem em imagem. Bravo.

Fantástico este final de dia em Alcochete.
Este azul que domina toda a composição está um espectáculo.
E os reflexos das luzes na água criam um efeito gráfico muito interessante.
Fianlemtne podemos ir para a rua fotografar(já não aguntava mais tanta chuva).

Olá Filipe. Azul e azul são as minhas duas cores preferidas. Boa blue hour com um pov interessante. Boa cor e reflexos bonitos. O único senão é a composição centrada sem motivo (na minha opinião) por isso eu cortaria metade daquele céu. Nada disso no entanto desmerece a foto sendo apenas uma questão de gosto pessoal. Mais que uma hora azul, é uma hora azulona! E cor-de-rosa! Está absolutamente fantástica! Os 15 segundos tornaram a superfície da água e o céu incrivelmente suaves. Está realmente de sonho!

A nitidez talvez pudesse ser um pouco melhor com um tripé, que eu mesmo nunca carrego. Mas esta imensidão azul é simplesmente estonteante e enche os olhos! Muito bonita!

The lovely yellow lights of the chrming harbor town blend beautifully on the glassy blue sea and vivid sky.
Very tranquil scene with wonderful clarity and textures.
