There is surprisingly a lot of renovation in Belarus and great care is being taken to make the cities look good. This is the main pedestrian street in Brest. Most cities in Belarus have such an avenue and almost always it bears the name of “Ulitsa Sovetskaya” which means Soviet Street. So if you enter any larger Belarusian city and immediately you want to hang out with young and cool people (like this girl here) just ask for ……Soviet Street
