It is better, Colin. The sight is crushed a little by these typical rocks known of Praslin, in particular the mass on right. To the 24 mm, some steps in front of, that would have been better. Moreover, rocks are under-exposed. The photograph in edge of sea is not easy. Mine always are not very successful!
On ne se lasse pas de contempler ces plages de rêve. L'angle de prise de vue est réussi mais je trouve que le fort contraste rend les rochers un peu sombre.
Aussi, j'ai essayé un WS.

another fine capture from you colin. this place seems really beautiful. i cna imagine what result would have been like if you'd used a fuji velvia instead :)
william makes a good point of the rock , but im referring to the ones on the right. i like the rocks which are in the centre though . i dont think the underexposure of these rocks is bad, infact it's much better . if the rocks were bright, they would have killed the photograph.
infact i think you should change the contrast just a little more towards the darker side, in order to bring out the colours more. i wonder if you used a polariser here?
take care :)
I love the rock looming over half the photo, it makes me want to explore to see what's on the other side of it. Alas it's way to far from where I live, but your photo sure makes me want to brave the flight! I love the dark hue of blue in the sky against the dark of the rock. I've been looking at your web site too...looks like I can learn a lot from you! Thanks for critiqueing my photos amaturish as they are!
