Photographer’s Note
Even at 2000 feet above sea level, the day is hot, thick, muggy, so dense you can barely breath. Workers are burning the fields to plant beans in the late summer heat. Smoke is everywhere, under the bananas, in your clothes, in you mouth.
He'd had enough and was fleeing to the shade of the bananas.

Hello,
Technically this picture could be worked on but you've really captured the life of workers in South America. Hot, sticky, dirty and hard. I can practically feel the heat even though I'm comfortably sitting in Northern Europe. The haze is an excellent touch. To make this picture a bit better I'd suggest a portrait crop rather than the landscape crop you have here, so that you wouldn't cut the guy out of his boots. Also sharpening the image might make it even more intense. Still this is a great post as it seems so much more real than a post card image. Well done!
Sincerely,
Kate

The picture looks somehow cinematographic, I don't know why. The composition was good, and the balance of colors. Congratulations.
