This so cool! I love the angle! It's so artisticly distorted! And the black/white emphasizes this awesome effect. The clouds also compliments the shot! Very inspiring!

Hi Joao,

incredible effect and POV of the Eiffel Tower. The angle makes the Eiffel Tower completely dominating the landscape. In my opinion you should develop your notes to tell how you took this picture (wide lenses?).

An unusual shot of Eiffel, totally different of what we usually see in other photos
The B&w effect and the wild clouds are the elements i like the most plus the point of view!

Good angle on this, I've planned shots of the tower like this in my head -- just need to get my butt to Paris to shoot them! Great use of the legs to lead us up into the tower. I like the contrast a lot as well, the tonal range works very well for me. You went a little wide on your brush work on the space between the two legs of the tower on the right, there is a small section of cloud (straight up from (c) 2009) that is lighter than the rest.

I don't know your philosophy on cloning, I know I always like to keep the scene as it was and not as I'd wished it was. If you are OK with cloning, I'd get rid of the crane at lower right and the rectangle (building?) at bottom center.

Hello Joao,

OK, we've seen the Eiffel tower zillions of times, but still this shot comes as a surprise. That alone makes it a good post for me. On top of it, it's a wonderful picture, good choice of bl/wh and spot on sharpness.

Another great shot Joao. I've never been to Paris but I've seen plenty of photos of the Eiffel Tower, this is one of the better ones. I've got to get myself a super wide angle lens! I like this effect.
