Photographer’s Note

The Tsukiji Fish Market in central Tokyo is the biggest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world - more than 2 million kilograms of fish are handled everyday.

It has become a major attraction for foreign visitors in the early hours of the morning. However because of the inherent dangers associated with the huge numbers of tourists, and because these tourists can impede upon the market activities, access to the tuna markets can be restricted to certain areas and/or banned at certain times.

As well as being aware of the slippery and wet floors visitors have to watch out for trucks and these motorised delivery vehicles which speed around the market.

Hello Marlene,
you manage to capture such kind of photos which I (for myself) call "photos up to the point"! They look like photos for a journalist's report and sometimes can tell the whole story (like with your photos taken in Russia, for example) :)
Anyway, I think the composition is perfect; but maybe I wouldn't crop the top so tightly... though I see that the sky was white and was not of too much interest?... (that's a minor remark..)
