Hokoji Hansobo, Buddhist Temple in Inasa-cho ( Hamamatsu ), it is one of the biggest temple in Tokai area.
Located beside waterfalls and ancient trees, there are 500 ¨rakans¨, statues which represent disciples of Buddha. Their often humorous expressions beckon visitors with a hearty welcome to this famous temple.

Konnichi wa George!!
Ha, ha...This is what I call a "zen" capture!!
Yes, I like very much the calm ambience and the way you have composed the total image, with this hard angle from the "rakan" statue to the temple...Very good!!
Have a nice day...
Best Regards
Manuel

Hey George,
Nice take of this Rakan with the background temple. I like the feeling of vegetation surrounding the Rakan, though I feel that this little statue get lost in the BG vegetation. Maybe some use of channel mixer would have enabled a better contrast between the Rakan and the vegetation.
TFS!
