In Kerala`s backwaters it`s worth to get up at sunrise to have views like this one.
Here the first sunrays of the day hit the water and the people doing their dayly buisiness there.

The thumbprint here stood out among all other photos! In full scale, this is obviously one of the better pictures I have seen here on TE. Fantastic colours and an outstanding composition with the boat and its reflection, so well balanced. This is a favourite!

Ich mag die atmosphere hier...es erinnert mich an einem fruehen Morgen in Udaipur....als das chaotische Leben sich langsam aufwachte.
Das Licht ist sehr angenehmen und bringt Ruhe ins Kader.....und die Symmetrie traegt dazu bei, dieses Bild noch schoener zu sein

ausgezeichtes Bild! (wie immer muss ich ja sagen!)

cette lumière matinale offre une certaine atmosphère avec cette brume qui s'élève au dessus de l'eau, belles couleurs et avec la presence de cet homme dans sa pirogue qui tente de la faire avancer et le reflet de la barque et de la silhouette est magnifique

Leo, what a tremendous shot. Everything is spot on. The light is very well managed, the colors subdue enough to make the subject stand out. Sharpened only where is needed. Only one complaint: the typography is too busy. Use only one font and small size.

It's all about light, more difficult than that it isn't, but finding that light can be a real challence. I saw this one already shining from the thumbnail....it really shines. No wonder that it get's this high, it's a wonderful presentation. Very serene, very peaceful....wonderful piece of work..!!!

Great morning light on this river, it gives a golden side to the reflection of the boat. Perfet reflection of the boat and the man's silhouette.
