Photographer’s Note
The ancient city of Yaffo has been around since before the time of Abraham but has not always had Jews living in it. About 100 years ago, the Arabs who lived there were not getting along with the Jews. At that time, many Jews were making aliyah to Israel. They wanted a city that was all Jewish. Next to Yaffo, there were miles of sand. In 1909, the Jews decided that they could build a city on the sand. They decided to call it “Tel Aviv” because that was the name that Theodore Herzl had imagined for the first Jewish City when he wrote his famous book, Altneuland, predicting a new Jewish Land. Some Jews stayed in Yaffo.

Dear friend Tsilla,
many thanks for your sharing of some pictures from Israel like this one (the scene is like in the theatre, so lovely). There are too much words about the situation in the region, but only pictures can give the real idea how it is in your dear country. I wish you continue your generosity.

Hi Tsilla,
I like the composition of your shot, with the red "beach items" in the foreground and the golden backround.
Regards.

Wonderful photo! Color of the sky and the counterpositions of the background and foreground looks superb.

I appreciate what you ve tried to do but this much of manipulation and changes on the original photo is too noticeable and obvious. however I like the composition and overall concept.
