China excels at large scale projects - this is possibly the largest and longest run of murals in the world.....block after block of flats in the long road leading up to the Sichuan Institute of Fine Art - this picture has surprised a number of European people living in Chongqing who never knew the murals existed!

You isolated very well the buildings, making a crazy pattern of lines and colors.

Hello Kev,
Yes, this is definitely an interesting image full of colour.....and artwork. It's amazing what a bit of creativity can do to improve some old....and probabaly very dull buildings. The murals also provide some sense of difference to the carbon-copy appartments. I like the tight cropping which focusses purely on the buildings. Well captured.

I think I like this mural more as a captured in your picture than in real life. It is so LOUD...I wonder what the people living there think about the project...my guess is they'll say there're proud, but...dunno...
