About the photo
Burgu, Korkut, Valentinos and me went out together to see again some of the sight seeing of Istanbul. It was a rainy and cold day, but a day of friendship and nice talks and walks. I would like to thank them all again from the deepest of my heart.
Here we visited the Asian side of Istanbul the Haydarpasa railway station.

pp and cs
- doubled the layers
- decreased saturation of the upper layer to 0%
- add a mask on that layer
- delete tool to "free" the red umbrella
- merged together
- increased saturation
- neated and sharpened

The red umbrella and the reflection of the lady are fantastic. Excellent depth too thanks to the lines of the path leading from the angles. I like the contrast between the red and B&W.

Hi Saki,

I', a sucker for this kind of shot. Such a good composition with the pavement lines leading to the red umbrella. There is nothing quite like red to draw the eye into an image and teh lines accentuate this perfectly. Also a very good reflection.

I remember her desperate walk, climbing up and down stairs in that cold and rainy day...

Σάκη καλώς επέστρεψες στο ΤΕ,πραγματικά χάρηκα όταν σε είδα πάλι πίσω αν και εγώ απέχω εδώ και καιρό καθώς ετοιμάζομαι για "κρέμασμα"!! οπότε χρόνος ανύπαρκτος για άλλες δραστηριότητες!Θα τα πούμε πάλι σύντομα!
