Photographer’s Note

It's good to rest a little after working hard. For me it is strange and sad to see those people sleeping on the streets, but in Kashgar a lot of men do that. It's just a nap between morning and afternoon .....

Reggy: some powerful images - not everyone is comfortable taking this sort of image - but the Uighurs are very obliging and un-offended. I appreciate your post-processing here - very sombre. c

Like very much the composition here, silghtly titled man lying at one level, shoes the level below. Light then is excellent, with a top class post processing. I love the blue. Then the depth which ends up with the door slightly opened at the upper right.

Hier zou hij als zwerver woirden weggezet en van de straat verwijderd worden, maar daar kan dat gewoon. Misschien dat we er daardoor vreemd tegenaan kijken en zo'n man fotograferen. Je licht en schaduwspel is subtiel, maar juist daarom erg sterk overkomend.

Bonjour,
belle photo de cet homme dormant sur le devant de la maison, chaussures enlevée comme pour ne pas salir.
Belle prise qui montre la réalité de la vie dans certains pays et de plus en plus dans les nôtres.

i don't think that it's sad to sleep outside,much people do it in China,and also in India!The colors and the light here are splendid,I love how the light is just on the man,with some darkness all around him!I don't know if you obtained this effect by PP,anyway,it's splendid,it's the key of this picture!
