Photographer’s Note

Alfredo, the nets weaver i met 3 weeks ago in Venice.
And it has been indeed very pleasant for me to meet and to know this good man. He has told me of his job and about his life and then at the end he has also offered me a glass of wine, but unfortunately I am non-drinker ..only Coke :))
It is not easy to see a portrait in my gallery, but I must say that it is a categorie i really like..

Hi Valeria,
I am used to see your graphic shots in simple colors, this is a nice change, at least it is nice to see different experiments. You are as good at portraits as you're at graphics. Depth of field is well arranged and face of Alfredo is well quite well enlighted. B&W is also definitely right choice for my taste.

il bianco e nero era d'obbligo per un ritratto così intenso e naturale.
le rughe...la pelle bruciata dal sole, salsedine e fatica...eppure l'umanità del condividere la propria esperienza ed un bicchere....

Very strong portrait, with an excellent framing to the right. Not something i would expect from you, but hats off to this images of yours. The b&w and the facial expression are wonderful, really good work.

Hi Valeria,

I like you picture. There are softness and strongness in the face of this man. I think it's important that portraits bring emotions or tell us something. And here, I appreciate the look of this man, it seems he wants to tell us a, his story.
B&W is the best choice and works really well here.

Hi Valeria... No, it´s not usual to see portraits on you gallery, but accordig with the outcome this time, you should try more often, it´s also surprinsing to see B&W while one of your style sign ire colors... I use to say that a good portrait is when you can imagine the personality of the people portraited, and here this magic is possible. Congratulations.

E anche un altro: fai troppo pochi ritratti..!
Questo è ottimo, sia per il personaggio ben rispecchiato, sia per come è collocato nel rettangolo dell'immagine.
