Photographer’s Note

Dogs are the most magnificent creatures and truly are man's best friend. There is no one and nothing else that will love and protect you unconditionally like a dog.

The dog has become man's best friend, because it is one of the few species of our ancient past that has followed us into civilization. It has adapted its nature to fit our world of large cities and suburban monoculture.

For any species to perform this fea is truly remarkable, especially for a large predatory mammal. The next time you watch your dog run off lead, think of the millennia in which dogs and people have shared this world together. Think of the generations of dogs and people absorbing their environment, with the dog smelling what the humans cannot see and with the human seeing things beyond the dog's narrow horizon.

Perhaps, you will feel truly humbled to share your world with such a remarkable species.
The perfect match of dog and human will provide both with a lifetime of happiness.

In a world where so many people are so ungrateful, it's nice to know that dogs show gratitude for everything. They get so much excitement just from going for a car ride or a walk. They never seem to care what they're doing or where they're going so long as they're with the person they love.

Je ne suis pas excellente en anglais, ais je pense avoir compris l'essentiel du texte et approuve totalement.
Une photo ou je peux ressentir l'émotion et le regard qu'ils se portent l'un et l'autre.
C'est vrai que l'amour d'une bête est inconditionnel et pour nous pauvres humains nous ne pourrons jamais rivaliser.

It's amazing how can a silhouette photo to show all the feelings between the dog and the man.
It was very good idea, to use the colorful sky as background for your photo, giving thus emphasis to full of feelings expression of these two.

le seul tout petit défaut de cette photo très tendre et romantique, c'est le centrage du sujet, j'aurais cadré un rien plus à droite.
Belle évocation de cette amitié et dévotion du chien pour l'homme.

Really love this silhouetted shot of man and dog sharing this last moment of light just before day gives over to night.
The pink and blue sky backdrop adds wonderfully to the tranquility and warmth of this powerful scene.
I have two (a chocolate lab and border collie) and they give much more than they receive.
