Sunset in Carcavelos Beach

Beach that privileges the sports , inclusively to the night, being endowed with artificial illumination. With an extensive stretch of sand, she is one of looked beaches more of the region. Situated enters the Fort of S. Julião and the tip of Rana. Frequentada for the practitioners of surf, windsurf and bodyboard, due to strong undulation of its waters, becoming fullfilled itself here some competitions the international level.

Entre muitas fotos que vi na sua galeria, não podia deixar de comentar a beleza do ambiente conseguido nesta imagem da praia de Carcavelos. Existe aqui uma atmosfera de mistério e fantasia. Parabéns.

I love the vivid colors from one extreme to the other and how it really makes your eyes focus and move back and forth about the photo!

Hi Goncarlo.

I like the glow in the sky with tones leading to cool blue in the foreground. Superb land/sky division with sharp details image.

I can see your have produced great photos of Brazil on your trip. This one of Portugal brings wonderful color tones and mood, especially the orange and bluish tones. I find it very interesting to read your photo info of 3s and f/22 with EV+2 and manual set with in-camera tuning tweak.

Your composition is of course very well done as I have seen in your past posts. I admire you for bring your tripod in most of your shots and producing very high quality shots, like this one. Your choice of filter is effective. Superb work!

hi Goncalo,
you keep producing these fascinating photos with the tobacco filter, I'm starting to contemplate buying myself one :) I like a lot the smoke-like effect of the long exposure, and how the fiery orange of the sky contrasts with the saturated blue of the water in the foreground. the silhouettes of the buildings together with strong colours create an apocalyptic mood, very impressive, I like that a lot.

fantastique ambiance sursaturée et bien irréelle, l'occasion de donner à un paysage, le look qu'on aimerait qu'il ait.
J'aime bien l'usage de ces filtres même si il tronquent beaucoup la réalité.
Point de vue cadrage, rien à dire.

i like the yellow tone but not the blue sea at the bottom. It seems too fake. Someone should crop the bottom.

O uso deste PL adicionou aspectos artisticos a sua captura. Gostei destes tons fortes se mesclam entre eles. A faixa de luz ao fundo distribui uma luminosidade gradativa em todo o conjunto. Bonita mostra. Abraço, Consuelo

Je pense que c'est la première fois que je vois l'utilisation du filtre tabac sur un paysage de la mer, ça donne une ambiance étrange voir irél et qui n'est pas déplaisant du tout, belle idée, belle rélisation

Olá Gonçalo,
O PdV e enquadramento são fabulosos, as cores e luminosidade ainda mais! As rochas em primeiro plano e a linha de costa forma um caminho visual em arco que dá imensa profundidade. Os 3 segundos produziram um efeito fantástico no mar. Talvez a espuma azulada em baixo seja demasiado surreal, mas gosto imenso, nomeadamente pelo contraste dos tons frios com todos os laranjas.

Apesar de algo estranha e do efeito do filtro ser adequado, nao deixa de ser uma foto muito interessante. A definicao e o enquadramento estao otimos e o ceu muito bonito
