Photographer’s Note
Sheikh Lotf Allah Mosque is one of the architectural masterpieces of Safavid Iranian architecture, standing on the eastern side of Naghsh-i Jahan Square, Isfahan, Iran.
It was built in 1615 by the orders of Shah Abbas I of the Safavid dynasty.

The architect (Mimar) of the edifice was Muhammad Reza ibn Ustad Hosein Banna Isfahani. He finished construction of the mosque in 1618.

Hi Mehrdad,
you give us an impressive inside view of this beautiful edifice with its decorations mostly in blue and som turkis elements. The inner side seems to be wonderful done with the gold laces getting more and more the more you're going to the middle of the dome.
