Photographer’s Note

First I wanted to thank Paul and Renzo who organized this experience, for me the first, then all participants of the meeting in Venice.
The photo was taken from a bridge and a canal in Venice mixed color of the buildings accompanied by seagulls tourists.

Your photo depicts tranquillity. The soft colours please the eye. The silvery cast sea adds wealth in this composition.

Hi Antonello,

i must admit you managed to capture wonderful colours on otherwise not so friendly daylight (at least not friendly for my taste). You photo screams of vividness, full of vibes and life mostly due to picturesque architecture and flying seaguls.
I wish I spent more time on TE meeting to get to know you all... Well a reason more to attend the next one :)

Hi Antonello!
A nice shot from Venice.I like the bright colors and the seagulls in the air,great depth too.
BUT I`m missing a bit overall sharpness,that`s why I tried a workshop.
Your image has only 170 KB,you should post the maximum of 300 KB allowed,for better quality.

la tua foto esprime la leggerezza di Venezia e di questo giorno molto bene. Purtroppo poco dopo la buona sorte e´ volato via con il disastroso terremoto..

complimenti per la buona riuscita di questa foto, sei riuscito a tirare fuori dei colori molto vivi, inoltre quei gabbiani in alto hanno reso la scena molto dinamica e animata.

Antonello,
This is a well composed shot using the canal to lead the eye through the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The gulls add life and movement to the shot.

che bell'incontro che deve essere stato eh?, conoscere tanti fotografi ed essere in una città come Venezia. Ti invidio per aver avuto questa opportunità.

Colori brillanti e uno stupendo volo di gabbiani ad impreziosire l'inquadratura. La qualita` dell'immagine e` piu` che buona, ma ho notato che hai utilizzato solo 172 kb per questo post. Ora, essendo 300 kb il massimo consentito, c'era ancora parecchio margine per aumentarne ulteriormente la qualita`. Ma va benissimo anche cosi`, bravo!

Hello Antonello,
I have seen a few shot from the meetings from diffent members, I like this POV, showing the canal in full view. good composition the birds give much activity as well. the color is just a little bit over done for me. I mean just a little bit, if you look at the man's face it's all red, the good think is he is so small that it didn't matter, but the the sign that it's over done. But not bad. Just a reminder.
