Photographer’s Note

My 600th at TE
from Myanmar,what else......
Taken early morning at inle lake from a slow driving boat.
I posted images from 22 countries so far(I have many more non digital ones from many european countries,not worth to post) and the most interesting places I`ve seen so far are Myanmar,for the wonderful people,suffering because of this cruel government,Cappadokia in Turkey for it`s unique landscapes and the Atacama region in Chile/Bolivia,also for the landscapes with the volcanoes and colorful lagunas.
Countries I`ll visit again for sure.

Spring arrived here = outdoorseason......
so I`ll reduce my activities at TE,I`ll post and write less,but from time to time I`ll have a view at your work.

600 posts - bravo, stolze Zahl. Zum Glück macht es bei dir ja nicht die Menge allein.
Das Motiv des Fischers mit den Bergen im Hintergrnd ist natürlich klasse. Was mir nicht so gefällt, ist dass es irgdwo zwischen Shilouette und Unterbelichtung rauskommt un der Horizont leicht nach links fällt. Ich habe allerding seinen sehr hellen und hochauflösenden Schirm und muss mir das ganze nochmal auf dem Lapto anschauen.

Hallo Andreas,

600 pictures, that's a lot man, i will never make it to there, that's for sure.
We almost started to together and i'm not even half way. You are dedicated here with almost every day a picture, means it will cost you a lot of time and i can imagine that you reduce some gas and go out more during the upcoming spring and summer.

You told me it's not your best one....well, that's all a personal choice. I uploaded my personal all time favorite a very very very long time ago, a better one i will never make, but that's stricktly personal of course.
I like this blue toning and the half silhouette that is created by the light. Despite what others say or think, we can't make beaties every day and upload every day, that's impossible, but i do not agree that you should not be unhappy with this one, it has a certain mood that i like, also that blue toning.

This version has the wrong sharpening which i discoverd some hours later when it was online...stupid me in doing that....too much fooling around ends up with mistakes....oh well, it's only TE ;-)

TE is lucky to have such a dedicated poster and is isnt about posting the "perfect" image, its about teaching us something about the world through someone elses eyes or lens. I like the mood the blue tones create here - early morning all is quiet except the spalshing of the oars. Keep posting Leo, but take time to enjoy the nice spring weather, of course.

600 Bilder sind schon eine ganze Menge. Und meiner Meinung nach könnten eine ganze Reihe deiner Bilder Bildbände über Myanmar, Südindien oder Kappadokien füllen. Wirklich eine gute Serie. Auch das vorliegende Bild könnte ich mir gut auf einem Fotokalender vorstellen.

Your 600!!! Well for me still a long, long way to go ;-))) I think I cannot reach that at all, because my tempo is much slower. But congrats with this beautiful picture. It must be very early because the sun has not even rised yet.
