Photographer’s Note

Somewhere in Singapore waters near the Souther Islands. Our barge left the Pasis Panjang terminal passing by Jurong Island where the vessels from all around the world stop for maintenence and fueling.The day was cast and rainny, but some of the people in the boat still wanted to enjoy the view outside :)

interessante essa foto e a expressão na cara do sujeito, parece gostar da brincadeira, e acredito não ser um modelo chinês de guarda-chuvas, pois as vezes a própria chuva estraga eles, imagina um ventão desses... Belo trabalho.

Amusing and lively! I love the subdued colours too. The umbrella makes a wonderfully strong shape for the foreground, and the boat lends a sense of place.

Gosot da expressão do homem a tentar não deixar o chapéu de chuva desaparecer na imensidão do mar.
Penso que uma conversão para P7B também resultaria numa bela foto.

Hello Flavia! How FUNNY ... he seems to have fun too!!! Who has not had such situations and I guess very often when you have dressed up nicely to go somewhere special or returning from the hairdresser. LOL. Yes this umbrella has seen better days. Great post, I like it a lot. Best regards, Barbara.
