Hi dear TE friends

During the Easter, I was in the north of Portugal with my Kids Diogo and Duarte.

During the weekend, I had visited Aveiro... the Venice of Portugal

Enjoy it !

The Culture and Congress Center (CCCA) is a place deeply connected to the city. Its location, central, makes it a listed building and a landmark for visitors Aveiro. The modernity of the functions included in the beauty and tradition of the Old Factory Jeronymo Pereira de Campos make this building a great place for performing all kinds of events.

Location
Aveiro is the point of departure and arrival of the A25. This one links with A1 (Highway from Porto to Lisbon) is possible to reach Aveiro with comfort and speed.
Access through the railway line of the North (station of Aveiro) the CCCA is accessible route to a 10m walk.
Daily, several bus serving of a link with other cities of Aveiro Portugal. It is still possible to reach by sea (Port of Aveiro) and air (aerodrome, S. Jacinto

Factory Jerónimo Pereira Campos
The company founded in 1896 by Jerónimo Pereira Campos and her two young children, Henry and John. It born in a period of stagnation, which began with the crisis of 1891 and extends to about 1914.
Despite the slow urban growth and the persistence of the adobe building, the new plant had no competition between the Port and Pampilhosa. It was build with brick and tile . In 1907, when Jerome Pereira Campos dies, the capital of this company shares stood at 15 contos. Four years later, it increased to 30 contos, divided into equal parts by four sons, Richard, Dominic, John and Henry. The factory employed 64 workers.

mangigique image, ce ciel est merveilleux entre bleu et blanc et ce bâtiment, ce centre de congès est vraiment de toute beuaté, sa couleur ocre, avec la cheminées, ces belle fenêtre en rond avec le bord blanc, de toute beauté.

Very neat clean image of the the factory that has such a nice garden of green around it. If not for the tall chimney, the building architecture can be even like institutional building as library. I like the contrast provided by the red brick and green with the blue sky. Good work.
