Photographer’s Note

Monastery of the Cistercians' Abbey in Alcobaca together with church Divine Victorious Mother's ( Santa Maria da Vitoria) one should to the largest this type of building in Portugal.
Unfortunately, baroque elements the Gothic facade of church was curtained. It however narrow tall naves their from interior were removed was all later decorations, restoring in this way primitive, vertical simplicity.

Swietna fotografia, bardzo dobry kadr, ktora pokazuje ogrom teh slynnej budowki. Jesli sie nie myle, to tutaj w wiekach srednich Portugalaczycy pogonili kota Hiszpanom.

That's a very artistic job Josef. I went to Alcobaça a few years ago but was not so willing to enter in this Cathedral. I only realized what I missed after seeing this elegant photo. Excellent graphism. Congratulations.
