Photographer’s Note

Certains enfants deviennent vite adultes dans le monde entier. Natalia a 7 ans. Elle est tsigane musulmane et bosniaque de Kosovo. Elle vit à Marseille et travaille dans la rue. Son travail consiste à demander de l'argent à tout un chacun. Elle est très forte dans son job ! Son français n'est pas très bon mais elle sait bien compter ;))).

Some kids in the world grown up too fast.
Natailia is 7 years old. She is Musilim Gypsy from Bosnia, Kosovo. She works in the streets of Marseille asking money to everyone. She is very good in her job ! Her french is not very good but she can count very well ;))).

Hmmm...the post processing..i must say..reflects who you are and what makes you..a great potrait Grazyna..there is such serenity about the girls eyes..such calm..

Strong tones and contrast..balances the serenity about the girl's eyes..enjoyed this presentation..

I siedziałbym i przygladal sie...I dusze twoja bym widział Grazka, i dusze tego starego dzieciaka, tam - na zdjęciu.
Bezblednie zapodane, z jajem i z odwaga...
To nie owe czyściutkie, waxy-schmaxy obrazki dla kretynów, wypłukane ze wszystkiego co najcenniejsze w fotografii.
Twoja wizja, twoja tam obecnosc, twój kontakt z tymi ludźmi, a nade wszystko twoja pasja uczenia się innego spojrzenia na 'te rzeczy'...
Pasja wykrywania tego co istotne, co wypala dziury w mózgu...
Ten jeden, jedyny pixelek co opowie o zyciu...
Znajdziesz ten jeden pixelek i masz FOTOGRAFIE...

/Zdjęcie zdecydowanie lepiej wygląda w miniaturze.
/Po rozwinięciu pojawiają się problemy ze względu na
przyjęcie 'niestandardowego' formatu 800x800.
Trochę się to ma problematycznie do standardów
rozdzielczości dzisiejszych monitorów itp., szczególnie wysokość 800 px
/Trochę chyba za ciasno przycięłaś Grażyno, szczególnie z lewej,
no chyba że musiałaś :-)
/Nie wiem czy sweterek typu POLO tu był potrzebny ale ...

\\Modelkę znalazłaś przeuroczą i portret wyszedł bardzo bardzo interesująco.

Great b&w portrait ! Very nice compo and perfect execution. I like the grainy structure and thick black framing, which gives an artisanal look to the capture.

Powtarzanie komplementow juz napisanych, nie wiem czy ma sens?
Powiem Ci Grazyna tylko tyle, ze ja pewnie balabym sie takiego ciecia, mnie zawsze reka drzy jak trzeba cos kroic.
A Ty potrafisz obcinac ludziom glowy bezbolesnie, artystycznie. Koronkowa robota. Zostalo tylko to, co ma zostac i przykuc wzrok.
Naprawde, ogladanie Twoich portretow dodaje mi odwagi i burzy wiele moich fundamentalnych ale zlych nawykow.

Bonjour Grazyna, when I observe a portrait, more if it is a close-up like this one, I always look for the personality of the subject. Imagine how she/he is. In this case I can figure out things about this girl... Take care.

yes i am back and visiting your gallery, not surprized to see the crowd of talking faces all around. why am i particularly here now? cause, this lady seemed to be the most different "talker" in your latest works. she does not speak french yes, but her eyes speak the universal language of humanity. very impressive interaction and presentation.

Salut Nina, je découvre maintenant tes dernières photos, tu n'es plus très présente sur flickr : celle-ci me saute vraiment aux yeux, j'adore la simplicité de cette image et ces yeux qui racontent tant de choses - tu as dû avoir un super contact avec elle pour obtenir une photo aussi "vraie", j'aime beaucoup, bravo !
