Photographer’s Note
The lovely Mt Kanchendzonga standing upright amidst mother nature. This snap was taken in Decemeber 2008 on my visit to Rishyap. Rishyap is a small lepcha village, 3 kms from Lava. This small village offers some splendid view of the himalayas.
I took this snap from Tiffindara View Point in an early chilled winter morning. The tiredness from the long jungle trek and freezing temperature was soon forgotten as the sun rose and Kanchendzonga showed her immense beauty. We stood still watching the marvellous rocky beauty.

Hi Sumitavo
I like how you have caught the sun rising and turning the mountains pink. Thanks for the lovely description, I bet it was spectacular to see.
One thing I might have done is cropped the photo a bit to remove some of the sky and dark area at the bottom. This might have helped to make the mountains larger and more imposing.
Well done and thanks!
