Photographer’s Note
Along a path of stupas at the top of a small hill, two monks were making yak butter tea and a pot of bean soup.
They invited Josh and I in for tea, which is probably an acquired taste. Although the conversation was sparse, there was some action. The monks kept darting out of the room to chase away a troublesome yak that would bother them by nibbling on their plants.
