Photographer’s Note
August, usually a nice time for camping trips... Not this time. This was taken during the last morning of a trip in the Manche department, after 3 miserable days of rain and cold.
Luckily, when I got up that day, the sky seemed to want to hold the rain for a few hours. Didn't last long, as you can see in the background just above the sea. But it was just enought time to get a few good pictures.
I took this one almost lying down in the grass heavy from the rain and dew (whatever, really wet either way) to include the clover in the foreground.
I used a 2stop graduated filter to reduce the contrast of the rising sun in front of me and the ground.
This is a scan from a slide. I only used the contrast masking technic to counter the increase of contrast due to the scan and adjusted the levels.

Nice composition, i like the cloud formation and PP done on it. I might think of adding contrast(or little saturation) on the greens. Still Excellent!

I really like the wide-angle perspective here. The foreground flowers are very nice. As rage_tm commented, I think the greens need a bit more contrast. The sky is perfect, though.
