The wealth of photo opportunities while traveling around the world - albeit floating sedately along the Nile - is incredible. Daily life goes on, and you pass by all but unnoticed.
Here - just upriver from Edfu - some locals were tending the land as they normally do, while the backdrop of the encroaching Sahara is incredible to behold.
