Amazing. The reflection on the water was perfect. Great mountain, very good perspective. Congratulations.

Hi Nelu,
Clean, neat, bright, crispy colours. Your pp handling brought you beautiful colours, rich and deep. And although it's very bright, it doesn't look like a HDR and for me that's the best point in here. The trees are open full with life and show green and deep detail without over doing it.
I love the snow on the mountain, because last year in August it was only rock, means someday i have to return there....early spring.
As usual an excellent presentation in your typical style...
Regards,
Henk

Two words Nelu.... WOW! WOW!
Unbelieveable.... the sharpness is spot on- the overall tonal levels are flawless, brilliant colors and a great compo.
I 110% agree with Henk- THIS is how HDR's SHOULD LOOK! Not the other other-worldly looking things people try to go ooohhh and ahhhh with. This should be what people try to strive for...
As you mentioned this is handheld- I'm guessing this is all off of one shot. You did the adjustments for the highlights in one version, and then did the adjustments for the shadows in another and combined them both in PhotoAcute? I've never heard of that software before... I too use Lightroom- it's great!
Cheers Nelu,
- Dan

Hi Nelu,
A beautiful clean bright image with very natural looking colours. The mountain in the background is so sharp it looks like it has been deep etched against that wonderful sky. I like the way you've left some snow in the foreground to define the edge of the small pond.
A striking image that jumps off the screen.

Hi Nelu:
Excellent shot of Cascade Pond. This is probably the ugliest time of the year in the Rockies (at least in my opinion--I went in May three years ago, and everything was either frozen or dead), but you've overcome that nicely here. You got fabulous weather, and I'm with Henk and Dan--this is how HDR should look. You've captured this so that it looks like how your eye would see it--that's how photos should look! Great job.

HI Nelu, it's hard to decide which of your photos I like the best, I have been a fan since I joined TE. I know nothing about HDR although I am slowly learning what an amazing technique it is. This aside, whatever you've done here is spectacular. I like the ripples on the pond which give us movement and the DOF throughout the entire image - at an amazing f/7 is truly enviable. Thanks for your note it is very instructive. Congratulations and best regards, Lisa

Hi Nelu,
Banff is famous for outstanding vistas. If we didn't know, here we have another example.
Perhaps I'd prefer a bigger foreground; I mean: more of that triangle of snow before the water, making a bigger contrast with the trees in background. Anyway, the picture it's also very nice the way you presented it.
Greetings,
Francisco
