Photographer’s Note
The Cirque de Gavarnie is situated in the central Pyrenees, in the Pyrenees National Park, and registered by UNESCO.
Major features of the cirque are La Brèche de Roland (also called the Roncevaux Pass), not on picture, and Gavarnie Falls (400 m high) still iced at the moment on the left.
