LEAVING JARO, ILOILO Photo

Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken as our ouriggered motorized boat starts to leave Jaro, Iloilo for the island of Guimaras, shown beyond. There were three boatmen. One was sitting at the front of the boat, just in front of me. I had to make the most of the view given me. I kept my DSLR camera in my bag to avoid the salt water spray. I used my point and shoot camera for this one.

HI Andre, I like your composition very much, your position is very challenging though and must have been difficult to control the exposure. The colors are nice and good also to see the interior of the boat and your destination as well. The post-processing is a little strong in my opinion which can be clearly noticed on the background and borders of features. I wonder when I will get to visit the island... my mother's hometown is Dingle...TFS, Alex
