Photographer’s Note
I visited a place where the maple syrup is 'made' when I went to Québec. This is called a 'Cabane à sucre'. I really liked the colors here. The reds of the house are going really well with the leaves (unfortunately on the ground and not on the trees anymore), and the rich blue of the sky.
About maple syrup: it takes around 40l sap to get 1l of syrup. Being mostly water, the sap needs to be boiled.
The collect is made when the sap is going up in the tree in the early spring. A very specific temperature is needed. Ideally between -4°c at night and 4°c during the day.
Canada produces 85% of the quantity of maple syrup in the world.
I posted an other view of that house with a bit more space on the sides.

Interesting picture with nice colours and good information. Unfortunately, this picture is too "squeezed", this house deserving a more ample angle in my opinion.
