Photographer’s Note
On the second last day of 2008 I was hanging around in New York people watching.
It was a good position to just observe the comings and goings of daily life.
Nothing too spectacular in this picture, a barren tree, a few buses, people rushing about and some fabulous old buildings towering in the background.
It was a bitterly cold day around 0 degrees. But still wonderful.

Hi Russel,
sometimes although the photo isn't so spectacular as one would like to have it contains a lot of nostalgia and reminders of a specific place. Maybe the photo is too everexposed but at least you can see all the details of the daily life in the foreground.
