Photographer’s Note

This is a very simple photo (actually, a photo from my "family album" which was not meant to be posted).

For those who like the simplicity and easy interactivity of the old TE version.

This is my protest against the changes... which are not always for the best - we know it!

Occam's razor is the principle that "entities should not be multiplied unnecessarily."

It is apocryphally attributed to 14th-century English logician and Franciscan friar, William of Ockham.

---------------------------
Occam's razor, also Ockham's razor, is now usually stated as follows:

"Of two equivalent theories or explanations, all other things being equal, the simpler one is to be preferred."

---------------------------
In the spirit of Occam's razor itself, the rule is sometimes stated as:

"The simplest explanation is usually the best."

---------------------------
Another common statement of it is:

"The simplest explanation that covers all the facts is usually the best."
