Photographer’s Note
On my way to Prambanan it started to rain and it would not stop raining for the rest of the day. This meant one handed shooting with the camera and the heavy 24-105mm lens in one hand and holding the umbrella up (very) high in the other hand, so it doesn't get caught in the picture. Needless to say, most of the shots turned out unusable.
I added gradients to sky and grass and a +exp brush to the temples and tweaked temperature and black levels. All was done in Adobe Lightroom. If you zoom in you can still see the rain on the temples, hence the washed out stone texture.
Prambanan is the biggest hindu temple complex in Indonesia, approx. 18km from Yogyakarta, built around 850.
