(My Series on the State of São Paulo - The State where I was born and where I have always lived - The Southeastern Region of Brazil - The Town of Joanópolis - #31 !)

Traveling nearby Campinas, I passed by Joanópolis, a small town in the border of the States of São Paulo and Minas Gerais! The surroundings has lots of high mountains (for brazilian standards), such as the PICO DO LOBO/THE WOLF PEAK - 1,700 masl, farmland, lakes and other interesting things for touristic activities.
This picture was taken at the downtown square (PRAÇA CENTRAL ou DA MATRIZ) with its main church (IGREJA MATRIZ)!

a beautiful photo with a good contrast between the yellow color of this church and the vivid blue of the sky. I'll join for a prayer to the persons being in the flight AF447 from Rio to Paris.

Hello Ney,
An interesting and unusual perspective on this splendid domed church. The yellow painted walls make a lovely contrast with the polarised blue sky. Sharpness is good.

Un cadrage très original amis aussi très efficace qui nous permet d'apprécier les détails de l'architecture. Belle luminosité également qui met bien en valeur la superbe couleur de l'édifice. Bien vu.

Oi Ney
Já estive em Joanópolis, e como foi uma "viagem" de poucas horas e acompanhando uma amiga arquiteta que estava construindo uma casa perto da represa, acabei não me dando conta desta igraja que é bem bonita, vc soube extrair muito bem os detalhes com a perspectiva diagonal e composndo com o belo céu azul e as ramas da árvore..

Engraçado, essa igreja lembra muito a fachada de uma igreja lá de Ribeirão Preto, devo postar essas fotos para semana.
Lindas cores e que belo céu azul. Igrejas grandes assim são de dificil enquadramento, e você conseguiu mostrar ela (mesmo que pela metade) de forma muito boa, o domo, os detalhes laterais, esse vitral no primeiro plano. A foto está bem chamativa e com um brilho espetacular.

Olá Neyvan,
un gran encuadre cerrado sobre una parte de esta bella arquitectura de la iglesia. Los detalles se pueden ver con claridad gracias a la gran calidad de la imagen, y el buen control de la luz tiene un espléndido efecto sobre el bonito color de sus paredes.
Muy buena composición, bien realizada.

I am not only amazed by the impressive contrast between the sky and the yellow church, but also by the architectural details.
