Photographer’s Note
This was taken on board Turmalina, the vessel that showed us around the great Amazon river, Peru. The sunsets there ablaze and as twilight approach, sounds of nocturnal wildlife arise in symphony... bats, frogs, night birds, crickets, caymans, monkeys. We went on a night skiff after taking this shot, while on the skiff, we turned off our floodlight and sat still in one of the tributaries. In silence, we listened and watched the clear night skies.
