To reach the Smigies picnic site,you have to walk west from Neo Chorio village, in the Akamas region,for 2.5 km.Plenty of Carob trees,olive trees, and wild flowers, such as Oxalis, on the way. The carob tree (Arabic: خروب kharūb; Hebrew: חרוב ḥaruv), Ceratonia siliqua, is cultivated for its edible seed pods. Oxalis pes-caprae (Bermuda buttercup, African wood-sorrel, Bermuda sorrel, Buttercup oxalis, Cape sorrel, English weed, Goat's-foot, Sourgrass, Soursob, Soursop) is a species of tristylous flowering plant in the wood sorrel family Oxalidaceae.
