Photographer’s Note

The Red Sea off Egypt is one of the worlds premiere diving spots - fish life and coral abound. Here is a scene I shot while scuba diving from Dahab, on a hired underwater cased camera. I had to bring colour back into it, for example bring out the orange on the fish. Colour is generally lost the farther down you swim.

Hi David, I'm having a difficult time trying to find Nemo among these orange coral fishes. The shot s clear enough though making the two divers visible at the background and still the colors of the corals seem to have been captured faithfully. Its a great shot of this school! TFS, Alex

Underwater photography always has fascinated me, but I have never tried my hands on it. I even do not know diving. You really captured the swarm of red fishes very well. The other diver in the background adds to the great DOF. Sharpness and details are fine. Well done

Hi Dave,
I like to see your occasional underwater shots and this one is no exception. Strange to see so much coral and such a diversity of fish life in the water there. I always tend to think we have a monopoly on underwater areas here in Australia it is good to see undersea life flourishing in different countries.
Nicely composed, having the other diver with the sun just over the shoulder works very well.
