Photographer’s Note

Seller in a budhist temple in Kyoto. All the workers (or are they monks?) wear white kimonos like this. I have no ideia what the coloured envelopes on her stall was for, but they're for sure related to some of the temples ceremonies or offerings.

Linda imagem! Parece que a foto tem um degrade de cores pouco no fundo e bem colorido na frente.
Bela imagem e composição.
Essas caixinhas coloridas são oferendas? O que tem dentro sabe?

there's something very calm and clean and elegant about this photo - the white kimono, the long and delicate fingers of the woman... makes me want to go and wash my hands, then sit down, take a deep breth and try to hear the univers :) sorry, hard to explain how it feels, but I like a lot the mood this photo creates.
