On a night drive in Kapama game Reserve by Kruger National Park, we stumbled upon this female leopard walking along the road. She soon went into the bush and our ranger decided we should follow. So taking down bushes and small trees with the 4 x 4 we went after her. It was obvious she was on the prowl, but stopping once in a while to regain her focus.
Seeing a leopard is a magical experience - and having the privilige of watching this one for almost half an hour was definitely one of the highlights of our tour!

a gorgeous animal! I am surprised, she did not mind a 4x4 "taking down bushes and small trees" following her... are you sure YOU were not her prey? ;)
