Photographer’s Note

Hi Folks,

I am ulploading another shot from where the Braveheart movie was recorded. We've gone to another day trip outside Dublin just to enjoy the nice weather. We drove as far as Trim, co. Meath. And there is this lovely place called Trim Castle.

Now few lines about the photo and why does it look this way. I tried to make the colour more vivid and because the photo was taken against the sun I had no choice but to use HDR technique.

Hi Dariusz,

I think you did a nice job with the exposure ... the sky is is poweful, foreboding, & dramatic .. it gives quite a mood to the castle .. I like the way the light plays across the green lawn as well .. very nice.

Hdrek fajnie wyostrzył kontury, się podoba jeszcze ta plama, jakby ostatnie światełko i te sunące chmury...

Ale chmury groźne.. Świetnie się to zamczysko nadaje do kręcenia filmów. Tako surowy krajobraz wokól. Robi wrażenie.

dobrze to nazwa³e¶, brak tu jedynie dzikich Szkotów i Irlanczyków o niebieskich twarzach. Nastrój oddany wprost idealnie. kolory niesamowite, nieboo wspania³e, doskona³a ostro¶æ.

rzeczywiscie niebo wspaniale i niezle sie nadaje pod HDR, chociac powiem Ci szczerze ze moim zdaniem i tak za skromnie podkreciles. Otoz niebo owszem przepiekne ale gdybys mocniej podkrecil moze wtedy zamek bardziej wynurzylby sie z cienia, a tak troszeczke ciemnawo jak na moj gust wyglada.
Tak czy owak mysle ze to zdjecie wbrew temu co wspominasz o HDR akurat jest jak najbardziej naturalne: doskonale oddaje Irlandzka pogode i rzeczywista atmosfere miejsca.
Wiekszosc Twoich zdjec jest co prawda doskonala technicznie ale nijak sie nie ma do irlandzkiej rzeczywistosci, a tutaj oddales cala ta przynebiajaca, pochmurna codzienna rzeczywistosc.
Bardzo mi sie tez podoba te dwie osoby na lawce...

Very dramatic with the dark sky contrasting with the fresh green. Is this a RAW? I like the end result.

piekne fortyfikacje w doborowej kolorystyce. Mistrzowskie wykonanie oraz bardzo ladne niebo ktore od razu przyciaga wzrok.

Bardzo ciekawa prezentacja starych murów na tle grożnego dynamicznego nieba. Czuje się tu świeży wiatr i przestrzeń pachnącą historią.
A te chmury to takie jak u nas...:)

Very nice point of view, the castle is perfectly placed in the picture. You show it a way we never saw it on TE. The colours are very nice, the sharpness is very good and I love this very irish sky.

Exactly a big fist come out of the earth with this old castle. Also the splendid sky suit excellent to this presentation. I can this picture very well appreciate.

Swietny kadr.Warunki pogodowe miales idealne.Takie niebo mozna znalezc tylko na wyspach.Bardzo mi sie podoba cala kompozycja,parka na lawce relaksujaca sie przed olbrzymimi ruinami zamku.Doskonala jakosc.

pod tymi chmurami budowla wyglada posagowo, jak pomnik z przeszlosci. Dramatyczny efekt. Dobra notka i linki do zamku. Piszesz HRD ale chyba chodzi o HDR?

Bonjour Darek.
L'utilisation du HDR s'imposait et elle a été bien menée. Le château devient ainsi une citadelle d'une grande beauté dans un cadre merveilleux. Le premier plan et le ciel sont également superbes.

Cliché bien traité. Un arrière plan avec des nuages superbement travaillés. Le château semble vouloir toucher le ciel avec fierté.
