Vigevano's main attraction is one of the finest piazzas in Italy, the Piazza Ducale, an elongated rectangle that is almost in the ideal proportions 1:3 advocated by the architectural theorist Antonio Filarete, which is also said to have been laid out by Bramante, and was certainly built for Ludovico il Moro, starting in 1492-93 and completed in record time, unusual for early Renaissance town planning. Piazza Ducale was actually planned to form a noble forecourt to his castle, unified by the arcades that completely surround the square, an amenity of the new North Italian towns built in the 13th century. The town's main street enters through a sham arcaded façade that preserves the unity of the space as at the Place des Vosges. Ludovico demolished the former palazzo of the commune of Vigevano to create the space.

ciao giorgio,
in effetti fai bene ad invitare alla visione della versione grande, perche' solo li si apprezzano tanti dettagli che nella versione ridotta qui sopra si perdono.
panoramiche come queste restituiscono il piacere delle foto architetturali, forse perche' nella loro ariosita' si avvicinano molto all'esperienza diretta.

Questo scenario architetturale si giova dell'assenza di traffico automobilistico che rivela la magnifica pavimentazione. Con tanti soggetti interessanti nell'inquadratura la vista panoramica è appropriata.

The scene is very good. The wide angle is very pronounced here giving the image a more dynamic look. Good details and colours. Choosing this point of view was wise. Thanks Gio :-)

non ho capito se hai fatto tutto con un grandangolare spinto o sono più foto. (più la prima penso) cmq.
Bellissima foto e i dettaglio che si possono vedere nella versione large sono molto incisivi.

Muito bem realizado esta panorâmica.A praça de Vigevano tem um piso muito bonito, bem trabalhado, semelhante ao que se pode ver em Portugal.

Bonjour Giorgio.
Cette place est d'une grande beauté et ton pano la met bien en valeur. Dommage que le ciel sur la gauche ne soit pas aussi bleu que sur le reste. Le pavage est magnifique et l'architecture de grande classe.

Your panos are great too. I like this one especially because of the graphic on the pavement in combination with the beautiful architecture of the square. The light is nice and I like your choice of POV.
