Photographer’s Note

At 1400 over sea level the Fälensee is one of the three main lakes of the Alpstein, it can be reached after a 2 1/2 hours hike from Brülisau. It is enclosed by mountains and only on one side a narrow trail allows to reach the Fälenalp, you see these barns in the far background.

This place gives the impression of being in the norwegian fjords region.
