Photographer’s Note

Cretulescu Church (Biserica Cretulescu) in the city of Bucharest (Bucuresti), Calea Victoriei. It was commisioned in 1722 by the boyar Iordache Cretulescu and his wife Safta, a daughter of prince Constantin Brancoveanu. The church is built in the style created by Constantin Brancoveanu, a seventeenth century ruler of Wallachia, who commisioned numerous buildings during his reign and set out to create a distinctive national genre of architecture. The church suffered damage during the 1989 revolution but was recently restored. The frescoes in the porch are especially beautiful. Inside there still can be seen fragments of the late nineteen century frescoes (1859-1860) done by Gheorghe Tattarescu, a great Romanian painter.

Good angle on this - from my point of view - original church!
Colours and details are well reproduced, and the lady in blue offers striking colour contrast...

Another beautiful architecture picture with perfect sharpness, exposure, natural colors, depth of field, pov and composition! Seeing it sideways was a quite good idea and including those people and that dog was also very important for this photograph!

Witaj, Typowy rumuński monastyr. Fajny kadr, ładne kolory. Szkoda, ze nie mam zdjęć z czasów, gdy tam byłam, przed rewolucją i trzęsieniem ziemi.

The church is certainly interesting, but it's the woman in blue that immediately attracts my attention. The man with the dog is another good addition to the scene.

This one is a good photo of architecture. The low POV and the low-angle shot create a nice sensation of perspective of the church towards the blue sky.
The composition is harmonic and balanced well, and you have managed perfectly the strong light.
