Village House Photo

Photographer’s Note

One of the village house at Delima Melayu district, it is different with another house that I was posted before. This house with bedrooms at upstair, dining, chatting and watching television at downstair, a house suitable for a big family. Birds are perching on the wires, and not inside the cage.

I think you have captured a typical Malaysian rural house, but it looks rather exotic for me. It is interesting to see the differences in architecture and other details between Malaysian and European houses. Very well captured and presented!

Hi Ally. I love these old houses that have so much character. They usually have vivid colours and lots of potted flowers and plants. I saw such houses in Kuching and will post a few photos later on.Nice work and a reminder that such houses are worth preserving. regards. Klaudio.

Hi Ally,

The diagonal line of the road is an asset to the composition. The point of view is allowing us to see the details and colors of the architecture of the house. The trees and the flowers are framing well the house. Even with the cloudy sky, the light is enhancing the colors of the photo. Have a nice day.

very interesting house, it is obviously very well adapted to the climate. Very good POV on the house, we can see a lot of details. The stuff on the right side must be a challenge for every genuine German who is addicted to the orderliness ! (I am definitely not…).

Only today repaired you have visited my gallery. I was anoting the points as well as the member`s visitings. You are well come to share with me and comment on. You refer to the place as Delima Melayu district. And what`s the village`s name? Is Kampung?Is a timber house? I like timber houses and they may be safer when earthquakes occur. On the other hand concrete construction is a kind of environment pollution. Massive blocks built where they shouldn`t be. This house looks very romantic anyway!... The surrounding garden shows some tall trees and the taller one is blooming with red flowers. There is no fence delimiting the houses`property. Both coulors blue and red match nicely. Warm regards. Cette maison a un charme certain. Les grands balcons doivent permettre de profiter de l'extérieur tout en étant abrité. J'aime les couleurs. On a l'impression de vie et pourtant on ne voit personne.
