Photographer’s Note
La Rogativa, four sculptures by Lindsay Daen, stands at the end of Caleta de la Monjas in San Juan. La Rogativa, which means prayer procession, is a trubute to a San Juan legend in which a bishop and townswomen scared off the British invaders in 1797.

This may very well be one of the best photos in your portfolio so far. Great use of the background, good contrast and nice silhouette. I think I want to see a bit more of the lower end of the statutes, even though I dont know it there was a constraint that forced you to limit the frame.
You seem to have a few preferred compositions that you use very effectively -but also repeatedly-, and Statutes/objects standing against dramatic skies seems to be one of these. It's certainly a matter of style, but I am curious about your other works, as well.
Cheers

Hello Michelle,
It is a powerful statue, but you have presented it with all its salient assets. It is almost a silhouette, but sufficient highlights showing to give it three dimensions. Set against a dramatic sky, you've captured the atmosphere the sculptor must have tried to convey.
Warm regards,
Bulent
