The composition of this image is superb. Your choice of Black and White adds to feeling of ice and cold temps. Because of the way you framed the images in the shot you have created more depth.

strange but nice to have snow in such heats...I definitely like the minimalism here. one thing though, I find both the house and the trees a bit too close to the frame for my taste. still, beautiful shot.

I find high-key white winter landscape incredibly fascinating, especially when some black is scattered here and there like in this case. I like this sort of triangle built by the trees and the hut, it fills the space but it doesn't overcrowd it.

Expressions in visuals need not be theoretic.
We do it to the tunes of our creative depth.
Here, this composition has a definite mood, where the desert like snow seperates the distant objects that form a pleasable sight in frame.
B/W choice suits the concepts moods.
Regarding the question you state in notes, yes, true, sometimes no need to post notes when the image has the voice recorded in it.

For this charm, and for the coming smiles from you, a very big hug.

Superb shot, winter minimalism - the barren trees balance nicely the little cabin. The trail leading to the cabin is such a great additional element, adds life to it.
