Photographer’s Note
Another day in the City. This time a view from top of Vittoriano (on my previous photo). The most recognizable object is the Colloseum and before it Forum Romanum, the place between two hills where Rome was founded.

Good point of view to include quite a few famous landmarks!
The elevation gives a fine view over the place, good light renders natural colours and sharp details...
Many interesting elements,. and the frame has a good depth!

Hello Henrik!
In a quite clear day, a pretty privileged high pov, this is a magnificent general view of the city of ROME, right where some of the most important ruins are!
Sharpness, exposure, depth of field and natural colors are all excellent! The composition is simple but with quite effective and truly wonderful visual results!
I just love it!
TFS - congratulations!
My warmest regards and greetings from Brazil,

You had an excellent POV overlooking the city. There is so much history contained in such a small area and we can also see the mountains in the distance. It was a cloudy day, but you had plenty of light.
Good to see you again. It's been a long time!

Hello Henryk,
Magnificent city, with all those impressive buildings--the tower on the FG, the Colloseum, the arch, the arch of triumph, the ruins, the distant hills (are they seven hills of Rome ?), the slightly misty blue sky...Excellent high view.

Witaj Heniu,
Pozdrawiam

hi Henryku,
that's very nice! So many details, a busy but beautifully organized image. And I'm very enthusiastic about the colors: they look natural, convincing - love the light tones of brown.
I've seen many pictures of Rome but your pov is somehow new to my eyes. I like it much!
best wishes :)

Witaj Henryk,
This is a scene that captures Rome as a 'living museum.' Two thousand years of architecture (and ruins) coexist, and are taken for granted by the inhabitants of the wonderful city. Have a good Sunday,

Hello Henryk,
Very old city indeed and beautiful! Your point of view is very good to capture a wide area of the city. The ruined buildings enhance the historical elements of the view as well. Nice work Henryk :-)

Hey Henryk, this is quite an impressive view of Rome, monuments spread all over the place. The colluseum might be the star but it's not alone and I also like the mountains seen in the distance.
I can see that you also have been absent around here...I'm already settled in the cortijo and will try to return to TE.

Hi Henryk, An excellent and little seen POV of Rome. The Colloseum stands out well and looks modest in size from this distance. The balance between greenery and the concrete is very good. Rome is such an interesting place, a few days is not enough. TFS. Murray.
