Photographer’s Note

Here you can imagine the daily life of a foreigner in China. You can be travelling anywhere, but Chinese tourists will find you more attractive for a picture than the site itself. Pretty funny.

These photo sessions can also be long since they're in groups and they all want a picture with you so they take turns to stand beside you.

The picture was taken at Jiayuguan Fort, in Gansu.

Hi Christiane. I get this photo! I've taken a similar shot lots of times - a guy taking a picture of my girlfriend with his family or friends. It's funny and a uniquely Asian phenomenon... Nice job getting the over-the-shoulder view and framing the family.
