I am actually on a boat here going to Caliraya, a man made lake in Lumban, Laguna. The visitors on the recreational area needs to take a boat ride to go to the hotel. I took this while we are maneuvering towards the island. Hope you like ;)

Hi Ollie,
i am not sure how nobody has passed any comment on this photo.
the jetty give persective and depth taking youe eye to the heart of the shot, the simplicity of the bare tree on the headland takes the eye across and through the rest of the shot. the subtle colours in the photo give a very classic feel to the piece.

I agree, this one is worth even one bit of praise. the simplicity and quaint feel of your shot is one merit of this pic. even the sense of perspective is effective. i like how the tree silhouette adds an interesting break over the bright white sky. a little bit of tilt on the horizon but its not that much of a bother.
