Warszawa (Warsaw), Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego (The Warsaw Uprising Museum). The Warsaw Uprising Museum is seated in buildings of a former tram power plant at Przyokopowa Street 28. The power plant was built in the years 1904-1908 within a land plot at the corner of Grzybowska and Przyokopowa streets, facing Przyokopowa street, in the immediate vicinity of Towarowa Street, one of the main roads of Warsaw. It opened on July 31, 2004. A landmark of the Warsaw Rising Museum is a 35 meter high tower seen from the distance crowned with a symbol of Fighting Poland. The tower with a slightly ragged shape, resembling ruins is equipped with a panoramic lift taking visitors to an observation deck at the top floor.
